EXPLORING SHAKESPEARE

Postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic

Training venue: Shakespeare's Globe, New Globe Walk, London SE1
Date: Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2020
Trainers: Donna Ruane RSLI and Alexandra Shaw RSLT

This course allows us to explore Shakespeare's works and how we may begin to approach its beauty using BSL without losing the essence of the source language. Open to those with Level 3 - RSLI / RSLT, this course suits those that work with Shakespeare in a variety of domains, as well as those that want to explore the challenges of interpreting Shakespeare in a safe space!

Programme:

Saturday 12 September 2020: course all day (exact times TBA)

Sunday 13 September 2020:

morning - course

1:00pm - interpreted performance of Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare's Globe, interpreted by Taz Hockaday


Cost includes training, materials, tea/coffee and fun:
Early bird (before 31 May 2020) - £260 (including cost of theatre ticket)
Standard rate (1 June 2020 onward) - £280 (including cost of theatre ticket)

Due to Much Ado About Nothing ticket availability, we recommend that you book your place ASAP. Receipt of payment is required before your placement is confirmed by Theatresign.
