Antigone

Antigone - BSL Interpreted Performance

Location:

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, The Regent's Park, Inner Cir, London NW1 4NU
Antigone

Book your tickets to see the BSL interpreted performance of Antigone at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre on 13 September 2022.

Please Note:   For this performance, BSL access will be provided by a non global majority BSL Interpreter who is qualified and experienced in the Theatre domain.

As a BSL Access provider - THEATRESIGN strive to cast our interpreters to reflect the origins and casting of each show.  However, as a profession (and particularly in the field of theatre and performance) the number of appropriately skilled and available interpreters is limited and demand is high which means that it is not always possible to do so.  In those cases we will always provide BSL access to the deaf community which will mean that on occasion the interpreter will not be of the same community that the performance is depicting.

We are proud to be an 'Agency Supporter' of the IOCN and we will continue to offer opportunities and development to interpreters who are under represented in this domain.  Please bear with us while we support and encourage the growth of representative talent.

If you are a trainee/qualified interpreter from an under represented community and feel that you have the skills and passion for theatre or, if you know someone that you think could excel in this field - please do contact us as we are always open to receiving applications and working with new talent.
